The Cornish Wax Company is a one woman show and I take care of every single aspect of the business. The goal is that one day the business will outgrow my small workspace at home and I will be able to have a helper or two.
I started this business for my family. My husband and our three kids. When we had our baby daughter in 2022 I decided I would try as hard as possible not to go back to work so I could be flexible, at home when needed and she didn't 'have' to go into nursery all the time. She is, after all, our last baby and we want to soak in every second.
Prior to making them myself I had a long-standing obsession with wax melts. I love the way fragrance has the power to make a house a home. The nostalgia you feel when you smell the perfume you wore when you were a teenager or the satisfaction of your favourite laundry cleaning product filling your home, is just magical.
Every single wax melt is made from soy wax and is hand-poured and packaged. Every single order means the world and genuinely does cause a happy dance when the notifications come through - thank you so much.
